A Tale of Two Spiders

A couple weeks ago some friends invited us over to play on their huge blow up water slide.  The boys had so much fun.  I must admit, I was a little sad I didn't bring my swim suit.  When we got home I found a little (alright it was a pretty good size for a spider) stow-away in the swim bag.  He must have walked in or grabbed onto a towel.  I didn't want to crush it in the swim bag so I was trying to catch it and set it free.  While I was catching the spider I found another little spider in the bag too.  I decided to have a little fun.  Since I already found myself attached to the bigger jumping spider I caught both spiders in a Jar... the same Jar!  It was good fun.  It took a little while to get both spiders close enough for the big one to eat the little one, but it did! I felt triumphant.  Matt suggested that I now feed the big spider to one of the tarantulas, but that just seem sad (I liked the jumping spider).  I like my tarantulas too, but they get fed store bought bugs. So I set the spider free, and the next morning I found a molt just where I left it! I hope he grows up big and strong to eat more little bugs in my house!

You do realize that forcing animals to fight to the death is illegal in most states. I'm telling.
